Атанас започва да се занимава с WordPress професионалнo още от версия 2.7, а в момента е Code Wrangler в Automattic. С опит като доброволец за WordCamp Sofia и WordCamp Plovdiv и организатор на WordCamp Sofia 2019, тази година за първи път се впуска в предизвикателството да участва в организацията и на Online WordCamp.
